Templestowe Day Surgery is an independent, accredited day procedure centre in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. We focus on a small number of procedures performed under local anaesthetic, so every patient receives calm, attentive care.
Who we are
Focused care, close to home
We’re a registered day procedure centre, accredited against the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. Doctors credentialed by our Medical Advisory Committee perform skin and cosmetic procedures here under local or tumescent anaesthesia, with or without light sedation.
Because we don’t provide general anaesthetic, every procedure is carefully selected and planned. That focus keeps the experience personal: a quiet environment, a small team who know your plan, and clear information before, during and after your visit.

Our team
Skilled, supportive care
Our nursing team looks after you from admission to discharge. Every nurse works within our competency framework, which includes a structured orientation, annual mandatory training and ongoing infection prevention education.
Clinical leadership comes from our Medical Director and Director of Nursing, who oversee credentialing, quality and safety. Our office team is your first point of contact for bookings, paperwork and costs.

Equipped for safe day procedures
Our centre is set up specifically for procedures under local and tumescent anaesthesia, with patient monitoring throughout.
Accredited standards
We’re assessed against the NSQHS Standards and follow Victorian Department of Health requirements for day procedure centres.
Quality and safetyInfection prevention
We follow strict infection prevention policies and regularly audit practices such as hand hygiene and antibiotic use.
Approved products
Every product, device and prosthesis used at our centre must be approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
